TOP 3 ANIME/MANGA - BLEACH, NARUTO and DRAGONBALL Z

Anime and Manga are to me, the best type of comic and cartoon around.. For those who dont know what anime and manga are:

ANIME refers to japanese originating cartoons. these shows include popular titles such POKEMON, BLEACH, DRAGONBALL Z and DIGIMON.

MANGA refers to the japanese style comic books. they have become increasingly popular in western society and are what most anime are originally based on.

one of my personal favourite Anime and Manga to collect, read and watch are these 3 series.

before you read about the anime, please note that the latest chapters and news on this anime is from SHONEN JUMP, the best weekly magazine ever!!!



before you read on, i say to all those true, full-on anime/manga fans, "yes, i know, they are the generic series"

BLEACH

1. BLEACH
Pure awsomeness. Manga and anime both kick butt and i recommend going over the manga then having a look at the anime to fill in all the wicked action the manga just cant show you. This involves soul reapers (known in japanese as 'Death Gods'), crazy japanese weaponry both big and small, fast action with blood and gore, a possesed and halerious stuffed bear, and of course, the greatest set of anime tits you will ever see (Orihame is her name for all the guys out there, not that you dont already know that). its great as the anime also moves pretty quick, so unlike others, your not sitting there watching characters power up for 3 episodes. this just gets straight into it. By far the best, BLEACH is the #1 anime/ manga in the world

NARUTO

2. NARUTO
Ok, so the original may have been a bit gay with the whole "believe it!!!", but the Shippuuden storyline makes up for that annoying little boy. This anime is best watched in japanese as the english voices to get a little annoying. This was the first real manga i ever read and has ninjas, magic (jutsu) and a wicked storyline involving animal deamons of immense power and awsomeness mixed with crazy over the top ninja action. unlike bleach though, the manga is the best way to follow this series as the anime can take a long time to progress.

3. DRAGONBALL Z
OK, so its not as current as BLEACH or NARUTO, and a bit long winded, but honestly, with the originating line of "ITS OVER 9000!!!", you cannot go wrong. This anime, with soooo many sagas spanning so many episodes was great. I never really read the manga (due to the fact that when i started reading, the manga was no longer in production). Thsi anime includes awsome fighting scenes, massive special moves that need to be shown from outter space to see the damage to the planet, flying, profanities (japanese version only) and some of the coolest badguys ever. also, almost all teh main characters are named after or played on a food. kakarot, vegeta, goku, gohan, all food and plays on food. anyways, what makes this great is simply that it has everything a 10 year old wants to see. action, energy blasts, cool badguys and the #2ultimate nice-guy hero (almost as nice as #1 Jackie Chan).
